Lakewood, NJ - The Wagner College men's golf team teed off at the Monmouth Hawk Invitational this past weekend at the rolling Par-71 Eagle Ridge Golf Club. The Seahawks ended the two day event that went from Sunday to Monday with a team score of 653, pitting them in 8th place out of 10 teams competing.

Freshman Christopher Fourman (Greenville, OH/Greenville) and Senior Joe Bacher (Gibsonia, PA/Pine Richard) each finished in a tie for 25th place in the event shooting a score of 162 over the course of the two days. Fourman shot an 80 the first day followed by an 82 the second day while Bacher followed with a 77 and 85 respectively.

Also scoring in the event for the Green & White were seniors James Dougherty (Saugerties, NY/The Pendleton School) with 83, 83=163 and Sean Piotrowski (Sayville, NY/Sayville) with 86, 91=177.

Junior Christopher DeCarlo (Manchester, CT/Manchester) went 82, 81=163.

The Seahawks look forward to this weekend's trip to Easton, Pennsylvania where they'll compete in Lafayette College's Invitational tournament.
