Shawn Postiglione is in his first season with the Seahawks as a student assistant coach. Last summer, Postiglione assisted the Wagner women's basketball program before moving over to the men's staff prior to the start of the 2007-2008 academic year.

During his high school career, Posiglione earned All-Star Staten Island CHSAA honors during his junior and senior years at Moore Catholic HS, where he was a teammate of Notre Dame standout Kyle McAlarney. Postiglione spent his freshman year at Lafayette College.
