Saw action in seven games, striking out four over 5.1 innings ... Did not allow a run over his last three appearances, spanning 3.0 innings, while punching out four and yielding just two hits ... Closed out win over Iona (4/23) with a hitless ninth inning ... Struck out one to highlight a hitless inning of work at NYIT (5/14) ... Struck out two in an inning of work in game-four vs. Sacred Heart (5/18).

2007 Freshman Season
Saw action in five games, hurling 3.2 innings ... Closed out Wagner's 13-3 season-opening NEC win at LIU (4/5), pitching a scoreless inning of relief ... Threw an inning of relief in 9-4 win over Stony Brook (4/10).

Played his prep ball at Northwest Pennsylvania power North Hills High School under the direction of Tim McDowell ... Won four varsity letters ... As a senior, pitched in nine games while recording seven complete games and four shutouts ... Earned the Western PA Division I Prospect honor as a senior ... Selected to the Tri-State All-Star game in 2004 ... Member of the varsity basketball team as a sophomore and freshman ... Played summer baseball in the Palomino League going 8-0 and was the pitcher in the all-star game ... Won the North Hill Academic and Excellence Achievement Award ... Named to the National Dean's Athletic and Academic All-American team ... Also attended the S.T.O.P. conference against addictive drugs with Pennsylvania senator Melissa Hart ...
