2008 Junior Season
Saved a school-record 11 games while establishing himself as one of the top closers in the NEC ... Went 1-2 with a 2.87 ERA and struck out 24 while walking just six over 31.1 innings of work ... Recorded saves in half of his 22 appearances and did not allow an earned run in 16 of his last 19 outings ... Made a team-best 22 appearances, ranking second in the NEC ... During NEC-play was outstanding, picking up saves in seven of his 11 outings while recording a 3.00 ERA with 14 punch-outs against only two walks over 15.0 innings ... Yielded runs in just two of those 11 outings ... Named Akadema NEC Pitcher of the Week for his performance in the Seahawks' four-game sweep of Quinnipiac (5/2-5/4) ... The righty reliever appeared in all four wins, three of which he saved, and allowed just one hit and no walks over 4.1 innings of shutout ball ... Hurled a scoreless inning of relief in game-two against the Bobcats to collect his eighth save of the year while breaking the former Wagner-record of seven ... Also claimed saves in games one and four ... Fanned one in a scoreless inning of work while closing out the Green & White's 5-2 win at Winthrop (3/22) ... Claimed his only win of the year in game-two against CCSU (5/10) with 2.0 scoreless innings ... Picked up save No. 10 with a scoreless inning of work at NYIT (5/14) before claiming No. 11 with 2.0 scoreless frames in game-three win vs. Sacred Heart (5/18) ... 2007 Sophomore Season
Went 2-1 with one save and 23 strikeouts over 29.0 innings ... Appeared in 14 games, making two starts ... Was overpowering during NEC play, striking out 15 batters in 15.2 innings of work ... Picked up his first win of the year against Lafayette (3/29), striking out three over 5.0 innings ... Earned his first career save in game two at LIU (4/6), striking out two while not allowing an earned run in 2.0 innings of work ... Collected his second win of the year in game two against FDU (4/29), fanning two in 2.0 innings ... Struck out a season-high five batters over 3.1 innings in game two at Monmouth (5/19) ... Was dominant out of the bullpen in game two against CCSU (5/12), fanning three in 3.0 innings of one-hit ball ... Struck out three in 2.0 scoreless innings of work in season-debut at Florida International (3/3) ... Hurled a scoreless inning of relief in narrow 3-1 loss to Winthrop (3/18) and against Mount (4/14).
2006 Freshman Season
Team's No. 3 pitcher ... Pitched in 13 games, including 10 starts ... Went 1-5 with 42 strikeouts and a 7.62 ERA in 54.1 innings while holding hitters to a .282 average ... Stepped it up during NEC play going 1-2 with a 5.80 ERA and 30 Ks in 35.2 innings of work ... Was tough on hitters with two outs holding them to a .222 average ... Hit .233 (21-90), including .250 in NEC play, with 11 runs, 12 RBI, five doubles and two home runs, ... Picked up his first career win against Sacred Heart (4/15), striking out five while yielding two runs and four hits in a career-best tying 6.0 innings ... Fanned a season-best six on three separate occasions ... Helped Wagner to a three-game sweep of Monmouth (5/20-5/21) with a walk-off home run in 2-1 game-two win ... In game three, he struck out six and gave up just one run in 5.2 innings in 6-5 win ... At Mount (4/10), punched out four via the K in 5.0 innings of work ... Struck out six in 6.0 innings in collegiate-debut against James Madison (3/5) ... Also fanned six at FDU (4/2) ... Hit his first career home run, a two-run blast, in game two against Quinnipiac (4/29) ... In doubleheader split at Mount (4/9), went 3-6 with two RBI ... Rapped out three hits and scored three runs in three-game set at SFNY (5/6-5/7) ... Had a season-best five game hitting streak to go along with three multi-RBI games and two multi-hit games.
Scholastic / Personal:
Played his prep ball at North Penn High School under the direction of Bob McCreary and Kevin Manero ... Helped the Knights to a 22-3 record and the District-One title as a senior ... As a junior, earned first team Suburban One National honors and was named team MVP ... His sister Julie Ann (25) played softball at IUP ... Is undecided on a major at Wagner.
