Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College cross country squads are preparing for this Saturday's Northeast Conference cross country championship. The Green & White men's team will look to improve on a ninth place finish from 2004. It was just a year ago that Meaghan Robbins (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) and Maris Reutzel (Meadville, PA/Meadville HS) earned all-conference honors en route to a fifth place finish. The women's team will hope to top that outcome this time around.

The one-day event will take place at the Immergrun Golf Course on the campus of St. Francis (PA) University in Loretto, PA with the 8K men's race set to begin at 11:00 am and the 5K women's race set for 12:00 pm (noon). The Quinnipiac men's cross country team and St. Francis (PA)'s women's cross country team will be looking to repeat as NEC Champions.
