Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College cross country squads competed in the ECAC/IC4A Championships this past Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. The Green & White ran in the University races with the women taking on a 5K while the men ran five miles.

The men had three runners competing with junior Kyle Sultzer (Archbald, PA/Valley View) leading the way in 71st place at a time of 27:36.3. Not far behind in 90th place was classmate Andrew Keating (Riverside, RI/Mount Saint Charles) tallying a time of 27:54.2. Rounding things out for the men was freshman Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH/William Henry Harrison) ending in 124th place at 28:41.0

For the women Meaghan Robbins (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) paced the Seahawks with a 20th place finish at 19:22.8. Coming in one after another at 44th and 45th place were Maris Reutzel (Meadville, PA/Meadville HS) and Brecken Drager (Loomis, CA/Del Oro) at 19:52.0 and 19:52.4 respectively.

Freshman Ryan Rogers (Islip, NY/Islip) landed in 82nd place at 20:39.7 while another frosh in Ashley Mallen (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) worked her way to an 88th place time of 20:46.0. Rounding things out for Wagner was Megan Melvin (Staten Island, NY/St. Joe's by the Sea) in 100th place at a time of 21:06.9.
