Staten Island, NY -- The Wagner College cross country team was back at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx earlier today for the Northeast Regionals. This came just two weeks after the squad ran the same course for the NEC Championships. On this day only a limited contingent of Wagner runners took part in the race that brough out some of the best runners the Northeast has to offer.

On the men's side junior Mouhamed Halwani (Staten Island, NY/Xaverian) came in 148th place overall with a time of 35:27.4 while sophomore Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH/William Henry Harrison) registered a time of 36:08.9 to pick up 168th place. The lone runner for the women was junior Meaghan Robbins (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) who raced to a time of 24:10.9 which put her in 119th place.

The Green & White will be back in action next weekend when they yet again will shuffle through Van Cortlandt Park at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. A more expanded field of Wagner runners is expected for that race.
