LORETTO, PA -The Wagner men's and women's cross country teams placed sixth out of 11 teams at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships in Loretto, PA earlier today.

The Wagner men's and women's cross country teams placed sixth out of 11 teams at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships in Loretto, PA earlier today. The men were led by sophomore Mouhammed Halwani (Staten Island, NY/Xaverian), who earned all-conference honors by placing 13th in 27:21. Junior Kyle Sultzer (Archbald, PA/Valley View) was second on the team and 28th overall in 28:02. Classmate Andrew Keating (Riverside, RI/Mount Saint Charles) was 45th overall in 29:04. Senior Andrew Casas (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph's by the Sea) took 49th in 29:19 while freshman Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH/William Henry Harrison) was 58th in 30:27, rounding out the scorers for Wagner.

On the women's side, the Seahawks were paced by sophomore Meaghan Robbins (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne), who finished 19th in 20:56. Junior Maris Reutzel (Meadville, PA/Meadville) took 27th in 21:36 while freshman Brecken Drager (Loomis, CA/Del Oro) was 32nd in 22:04. Freshmen Ryan Rogers (Islip, NY/Islip) and Ashley Mallen (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) rounded out the scorers for the green and white, placing 33rd (22:07) and 42nd (22:39).

Both teams are back in action Sat. Nov. 12 at the NCAA East Regional Championships.
