2007 (Sophomore): One of the top finishers for the Seahawks...took 14th place at the Monmouth Quad with a finishing time of 19:44.2 (6K)...placed 12th at the Stony Brook Invitational (date) at 18:52.32 (5.5K).
2006 (Freshman):
Bestowed the honor of the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (9/7) after a seventh place finish at the Monmouth XC Kick-Off with a time of 20:06.8...Competed in six races during the season
Prior to Wagner/Personal:
Competed in track and cross country at Longwood High School under coaches Jerry Curley and Joe Reily...Was named cross country team MVP and was tabbed all-county, all-league, and all-division in track...Part of three time Suffolk county spring track champions...Participated in the Empire State Games in 2005 and 2006...Also played basketball at Longwood where he was named all-league and was a member of a league championship team...Won the highly coveted "Bulldog" award along with the often sought after Mark Leath award...Multiple family members compete in cross country and track and field...Megan O'Shea (URI), Bridget O'Shea (Hofstra), Erin Dolan (SMU), and Katie Dolan (Hartford)...Majoring in business he is son to Joe and Ann Johnston
