New York, NY - Junior Brecken Drager (Loomis, CA/Del Oro) took sixth place in the 3000m run during the NYC Gotham Cup that took place at the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City in a meet that had no team scoring.

Drager clocked in with a time of 10:24.72 which is not only the best on the team for the year, but also ranks her second in the Northeast Conference in the event, running just over ten seconds slower than Saint Francis (Pa)'s Anna Hoffman.

Senior Samantha Snukis (St. clair, PA/Nativity BVM) brought together a brilliant performance in the 800m run with a time of 2:25.45 that though only placed her 15th in the meet, her time brings her to be the fourth best in the conference.

On the men's side of things, senior Bryan Pagliuca (Ronkonkoma, NY/Connetquot) took home a fourth place finish in the high jump, leaping 1.96m while freshman distance man Derek Rammelkamp (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) put together a 14th place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 9:02.56

The Seahawks return to action on January 26th when they head to Bethlehem, PA for the John Covert Classic.
