Indoor: Ran a season best 1:02 in the 400m dash at the METS Championships (2/1)...ran 2:32.1 in 500m dash at the NEC Championships (2/10)...ran a season best 2:32.1 at the Fordham Invitational (12/7) in the 800m.

Ran track and cross country at General Douglas MacArthur...also played soccer and lacrosse... grew up in Seaford, New York on Long Island ... daughter of Cheryl and Peter Balling ... has a brother, Kenny ... played her club soccer for the Plainedge Red Rockets and North East Regional Premier where she helped win the Waldbaum's Club Championship and placed second in the State Finals ... also played for the Super Y League Rough Riders, and was a captain in 2005 and 2006 for the Empire State Soccer Team ... has a cat named "Kicks".

Jessica also plays soccer for Wagner.
