2006 Division-I Independent Championship What's on Tap: Utah Valley will begin play at 3pm Mountain Time against Providence, a team they are 1-0 against all-time. UV swept the Friars at last year's D-I Independent Championship in Greeley, Colorado. The Wolverines' second match on Friday will be against South Dakota State at 7pm MT. The two squads are very familiar with one another, having played, and split, two matches this season. All-time, the Wolverines are 5-3 against the Jacks. SDSU will be looking to get revenge after Utah Valley defeated the Jacks twice during the 2005 tournament, including the championship match. The top teams in each pool will play in the championship, scheduled for 7pm MT on Saturday evening. The second place teams will play the third place game at 4pm MT and the third place teams will play at 1pm MT on Saturday for 5th place. Live stats will be available for all nine tournament matches. Live streaming video will be available for Friday's six matches and Saturday's championship match. Subscriptions start at $7.95 for a monthly pass to view the matches and can be accessed by going to www.GoBison.com. 2005 Tournament Recap: D-I Independent Stats Rankings: Camie Manwill is second in kills per game, averaging 4.22 and is also eighth in digs with a 3.90 dpg average.
