Lacee Koelliker was named the Independent Setter of the Week for the second straight week
 
 
Koelliker Named Division I Independent Setter of the Week

Utah Valley State senior setter Lacee Koelliker has been named Division I Independent Volleyball Setter of the Week after her performance last week in the San Jose State Hyatt Invitational. It was the second straight week Koelliker has received the honor.

Koelliker was solid over the weekend for the Wolverines competing in the Hyatt Invitational. In three matches she tallied 117 assists,averaging 13.00 assists per game. Her biggest match came in a three game sweep of Harvard where she recorded 46 assists, hit .471 (4-0-7),and had 8 digs. In the three matches she also finished with 20 digs (2.22 dpg).

This season, ten Division I Independent volleyball teams have joined together to have Player of the Week awards. Those teams are IPFW, New Jersey Tech, North Dakota State, Providence, Savannah State, South Dakota State, Texas-Pan American, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Utah Valley State and Winston-Salem State. Awards are voted on by participating team sports information directors and released at the beginning of each week.

The Wolverines prepare to host in-state rival Dixie State at the Shurian Family Activity Center this Friday, September 22 at 7:00 pm. Dixie made the jump from junior college to Division II this season.
