Indianapolis, Indiana - Utah Valley outlasted Tennessee Tech in the opening match of the Butler Invitational 3-2 (21-30, 30-25, 30-25, 28-30, 15-8) on Friday.

The Wolverines have a quick turnaround and are facing Northern Illinois this afternoon.

Camie Manwill led UV with a double-double of 22 kils and 16 digs while Allyce Wilson also had a double-double with 21 digs and 13 assists.

Jessica Endres recorded 17 kills and is 12 shy of recording 1,000 for her career while freshman Kayli Broadbent had 15 kills and hit .308.

The Wolverines improved to 1-1 with the win after dropping a five-game match to Wyoming last weekend.
