Boyer Earns First-Team ESPN the Magazine All-District Honors

Orem, UT- Utah Valley softball player Heidi Boyer has been named to the ESPN the Magazine District 8 All-Academic First Team. Boyer is the first Utah Valley athlete to be named to the All-District first team.

The First-Team honors now puts Boyer on a national ballot where she could earn Academic All-American honors.

Boyer just finished her sophomore season at Utah Valley where she carries a 3.72 GPA. To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a starter or an important reserve with at least a 3.2 GPA for her career.

The announcement for the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American team will be made May 30.
