OREM, Utah - After having a week to prepare, Utah Valley heads to the Pacific Northwest where the Wolverines will wrap up their regular season with a game against Big Sky opponent, Eastern Washington.

The Wolverines last played last Saturday when they fell, 1-0 to Southern Utah in a tight, physical game. Against Eastern Washington, UV will be making its first trip to the Northwest this season.

The Wolverines and Eagles have met two previous times in Utah Valley's four seasons playing collegiate soccer. In UV's first season of soccer, the Wolverines and Eagles played to a 2-2 tie in Orem. EWU made a return trip to Orem last year, beating the Wolverines 1-0 in overtime. The Eagles' scored the game-winning goal in the 99th minute, picking up a loose ball and finding the net.

This year's meeting marks the first time that the Wolverines have traveled to play on Eastern Washington's home field. UV has struggled against the Big Sky Conference, having lost its two games against BSC opponents this year while going 2-12-3 overall in four-plus years.

Utah Valley will finish its season next week as the Wolverines will play in the United Soccer Conference tournament hosted by UV. The Wolverines have already wrapped up the second seed in the USC tournament with a 4-1 record against conference opponents. UV will play Friday in the USC semifinals against either third-seeded NJIT or the sixth seeded team (South Carolina State or Delaware State). One win would put UV in the USC finals on Sunday.
