Robbins Named Offensive Player of the Week

Courtney Robbins is the third player to receive a weekly award from the United Soccer Conference.

Orem, UT- Courtney Robbins has been named the United Soccer Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performance last week in scoring the Wolverines three goals against Utah State and North Dakota State.

Robbins scored two goals on Friday in a 2-1 win over Utah State and on Saturday she tallied the Wolverines only goal in a 2-1 loss to North Dakota State. Robbins leads the Wolverines offensively with five goals and two assists.

"I am happy to see Courtney step up and start scoring goals for us," Utah Valley State coach Brent Anderson said. "As a captain and leader on our team she has taken responsibility to be an offensive threat for us."

Earlier in the year Rebecca Petersen was named Offensive Player of the Week and Natalie Hatfield earned Newcomer of the Week honors.
