OREM, Utah - Coming off a 1-0 loss to an experienced Weber State squad, Utah Valley concludes its exhibition schedule as the Wolverines head to Pocatello, Idaho to take on Idaho State Friday at 1 p.m. The exhibition contest between Utah Valley and Idaho State marks the first time the two teams have faced off in preseason action. The Bengals return eight players from a team that finished first in the Big Sky Conference and won the Big Sky Tournament. Idaho State owns a 3-0-1 record against Utah Valley. The two teams have played in each of the Wolverines four years at the Division I level. ISU beat UV 2-1 last season on a late goal. The Bengals won each of the two games played in Pocatello. The two teams played to a 1-1 tie in 2004 in Orem. ISU is the only team to have played UV in each of the Wolverines first four regular seasons as a Division I team.
