Flagstaff, Arizona - The Utah Valley State women's golf began just its second season ever by shooting 340 as a team, and stands in 8th place at the NAU Mountain Shootout in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Echo Thatcher shot an 82 (+9) and is tied for 29th while teammate Whitney Drumright shot an 83 (+10) and is tied for 32nd after one round of play.

The Wolverines trail Idaho State by 12 shots for 7th place.

The shootout will wrap up tomorrow with the final 18 holes scheduled to begin at 8:30am.
