Thatcher Leads Wolverine Golfers at Red Rocks Invitational
March 4, 2007 Sedona, Arizona - Utah Valley's women's golf team wrapped up play at the Red Rocks Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona at Oak Creek Country Club. Echo Thatcher finished with the top score for the Wolverines, finishing in a tie for 75th after shooting a 174 over the two-day tournament that was suspended Saturday due to darkness. Ashley Baldwin finished in a tie for 79th, two shots behind Thatcher. Utah Valley finished in 16th place at the tournament out of 16 teams. Northwestern University won the team tournament by one stroke over Washington State. The Wolverines' next tournament will be March 13-14 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Bobcat Desert Classic. |
