Wolverines Drop Duel to Weber State

Duel played at Davis Park GC in Kaysville

Kaysville, Utah - Utah Valley State fell in a duel to in-state foe Weber State at Davis Park Golf Course in Kaysville. It's just the second duel this season for the Wolverines, who will close out the season next Sunday, April 22nd in Blackfoot, Idaho in a match against Idaho State.

On Friday, Weber shot a team score of 300 compared to 347 for Utah Valley. Echo Thatcher led UV with a score of 81, finishing in 6th.

WSU's Jessica Thomas claimed the top spot with an even-par 71, two shots better than teammate Natalie Weber.

Kasey Larson shot an 88 for the Wolverines while Ashley Baldwin and Shari Johnson both shot 89 and Sarah Coop shot a 94 to round out the UV golfer's scores.
