Echo Thatcher posts a team best score for the tournament

Tournament Results

Moorpark, Calif. - Echo Thatcher led the UV women's golf team with a team-best 22-over 166 as the Wolverines finished sixth as a team at the Matador Spring Classic at the Tierra Rejada Golf Club.

Portland won the tournament with tournament-host Cal-State Northridge finishing second.

As a team UV shot a two-day total of 706. Ashley Baldwin finished with a 27-over 171.

The Wolverines wrap up their season at the NCAA Independent National Championships April 29 and 30.
