Beaumont, California - The Utah Valley State women's golf team finished its first tournament of the Spring season in 16th place at the UC Riverside Lady Braveheart Challenge, held at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, CA.

Ashley Baldwin led the way for the Wolverines for the second straight day, shooting an 87 (+15).

UC Riverside's Jennifer Bermingham picked up the individual title, finishing at +2, four shots better than UC Davis' Bryana Gregory. San Diego State won the team event by 10 strokes over Davis.

Up next for the Wolverines will be the Red Rocks Invitational, hosted by Northern Arizona University on March 3-4.
