Rob Dean enters his second year on Coach Larson's staff. Dean comes to Utah Valley State after spending two years as a golf instructor at Copelands Sports Golf Store. He also serves as an assistant coach for the men's club volleyball team at Utah Valley State. Dean played volleyball for Utah Valley State's club team from 1993-1994, and from 1996-1997, before finishing his volleyball career at the University of Utah from 1998-2000 where he helped lead the Utes to the 2000 Silver Division II Championship. Dean finished an Associates Degree from UV in 1997 and is currently working on finishing a Bachelors Degree from UV in 2006. He served a LDS Church Mission to Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1994-1996. Dean, was a three-sport athlete at St. Vincent High School in Petaluma, California. He was an All-League performer in baseball and basketball. |
