OREM, Utah - Utah Valley will wrap up a busy stretch of five games in 11 days when they travel Denver for a 7pm MT tip on Tuesday night. The game can be heard live at WolverineGreen.com while live stats and live audio can be found by going to DenverPioneers.com.

The Wolverines (13-4) lost on Saturday at New Mexico State, 82-73, ending their four-game winning streak. Utah Valley has lost its last four on the road and is 3-4 on the year when playing on the opponent's home floor.

UV is two wins away from tying the school record for wins in a season, which was set last year. The Wolverines finished 15-13 in 2006-07, their first season above .500 at the NCAA level.

Robyn Fairbanks scored 24 points and pulled down seven rebounds and, as of Monday, sits in second place in the nation in scoring (24.1 ppg) behind Middle Tennessee's Amber Holt (26.1 ppg).

Last week's independent player of the week, Fairbanks averaged 27.0 points and 11.3 rebounds as the Wolverines went 2-1 last week. She has been named the independent player of the week three times this season.

Following Tuesday's game, Utah Valley will not play again until January 24th, at CSU Bakersfield, the first of 10 straight games to end the season against fellow Division I independent schools.

Denver is coming off of a 93-55 Sun Belt Conference loss at Middle Tennessee, its fourth straight loss on the year. The Pioneers are 4-9 overall and 0-3 in conference action.

Junior forward Nnenna Akotaobi averages 12.8 points per game to lead the team with senior forward Sara Benham not far behind at 11.7 per contest.

It will be the first meeting ever between the two schools and the first meeting for Utah Valley against a school from the Sun Belt Conference.

Sandy Marvin currently has 975 career points at Utah Valley and poised to become the second player in school history to surpass the 1,000 point plateau later on this season.

Robyn Fairbanks was the first, doing so last season in just her 49th career game. She currently has 1,549 points. The two are ranked #1 and #2 on Utah Valley's all-time scoring list.
