UV Wrestling Signs Third Prospect
June 7, 2007 OREM, Utah - Utah Valley head wrestling coach Greg Williams has announced the signing of Mitch Sanderson to a national letter of intent to wrestle for the Wolverines next year. "We are excited to get Mitch here," Williams said. "His talent and athletic ability will hep him be a successful wrestler here at UV." Sanderson, who prepped at Pleasant Grove High School, was a two-time Utah State Champion for the Vikings. He also had a second-place finish in the state finals. Sanderson comes from a successful wresling family. His father, Kelly and uncle, Steve Sanderson both wrestled collegiately at BYU. Sanderson is projected to wrestled at 157 or 165 pounds for the Wolverines. |
