Two Sign With UV Wrestling
May 7, 2007 Orem, Utah - Utah Valley head wrestling coach Greg Williams has announced the signing of Wade Eldredge and Jeb Clark to letters of intent. "We are real excited about the addition of these two wrestlers," Williams said. "These guys will give us tremendous depth and competition in our middle weights." Eldredge, who hails from Fillmore, Utah, is a reigning three-time state champion. He won state championships at Monticello and Millard High Schools. Eldredge will add depth and compete for wrestling time in the 157 and 165 weight classes. Clark, from Spanish Fork, Utah, was a two-time state champion at Spanish Fork High School. He placed third at the Senior High School Nationals. After serving an LDS Church mission, Clark returned to wrestle at Northwest Wyoming (junior college) where he finished second in the nation at the JC Nationals last season. Clark will wrestle at the 165 weight class. "In addition to our signees, we feel we have a good group of guys coming in," Williams said. |
