Wolverines Competing at Santa Clara Invitational
Oct. 22, 2006 Orem, Utah - The Utah Valley State men's golf team is in San Jose, California this week to compete at the Santa Clara Invitational at the Silver Creek Country Club. The 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes on Monday morning followed by the final 18 on Tuesday. Jeff Gibson, Dustin Robinson, Jordan Rogers, Andrew Smith and Nic van Vuuren are the Wolverines competing at the tournament. Utah Valley is coming off of a dual win over Idaho State last Monday at Talon's Cove in Saratoga Springs. In addition to host Santa Clara and Utah Valley, 13 other teams will be participating. Boise State, Birmingham Southern, British Columbia, Cal Poly, Hartford, Idaho, Idaho State, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, Portland, San Francisco, UC Santa Barbara and Sacramento State round out the field. |
