Golf Heads to Las Vegas for Shoot-Out at Angel Park

Orem, Utah - Utah Valley men's golf will be in Las Vegas this weekend for the Shoot-out at Angel Park (par-71, 6,722 yards) hosted by the University of Hawaii. The 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes on Saturday with the final 18 set for Sunday. Skyler Distefano, Jeff Gibson, Nick Neal, Nick Nelson and Andrew Smith are making the trip for the Wolverines. Nelson, fresh off of winning the inaugural conference individual championship, was named the America Sky Conference's Golfer of the Week on Friday. As a team, Utah Valley finished is 6th place at the conference tournament, played earlier this week at Valley View Golf Course in Layton, Utah. |
