Wolverines 11th After Two Rounds in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada - Utah Valley men's golf sits in 11th place after two rounds at the Shoot-out at Angel Park in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wolverines had rounds of 298 and 301 and are three shots out of a tie for 7th. Nick Nelson had the low round of the day for Utah Valley, with a 72 in round one helping the team into a tie for 5th after 18 holes. Through two rounds, Nelson is tied for 21st, four shots over par. Nick Neal is tied for 38th at 7-over with Andrew Smith (t-45th, +8), Skyler Distefano (t-75th, +13) and Jeff Gibson (t-76th, +17) round out the Utah Valley golfer's scores. The final 18 holes will take place on Sunday morning. |
