Brimhall Named Independent Newcomer of the Week
May 8, 2007 Complete Release in PDF Format OREM, Utah - Utah Valley freshman Craig Brimhall was named the Division I Independent Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday after appearing in all four games last week for the Wolverines and finishing with a 0.00 ERA and two saves. Brimhall, who prepped at nearby Provo High, threw 6 2/3 innings last week including the the ninth innings of a doubleheader sweep at Northern Colorado, earning the pitcher two saves in one day. Utah Valley hosts Utah on Tuesday night at 7pm in the teams only game this week. |
