Delnoce joins Utah Valley's staff after spending the last four seasons at the University of Utah. A native of Santa Ana, California, Delnoce began his coaching career in 1994, as a student assistant at his alma mater, Arizona State.

In 1995, Delnoce was the head coach in the Arizona Summer Collegiate League for the Tempe Giants.

He began his first coaching stint at Utah in the fall of 1995 and coached the Utes for six years before joining the staff at Mt. San Antonio College.

Delnoce returned to the University of Utah in 2004 where he was the hitting instructor on a Ute team that finished in the top 25 nationally in batting average and slugging percentage.

Prior to coaching, Delnoce played at Arizona State where earned a degree in Social Work in 1994.

As a player he helped the Sun Devils to back-to-back College World Series appearances and, in 1994, was a team captain and the starting second baseman. Delnoce received the Courageous Performance Award at ASU in 1994 after coming back from a torn ACL.

Delnoce and his wife Staci were married in 2000 in Salt Lake City. In 2007 they had their first son, Tico.
