PROVO, Utah - Both the men and women Utah Valley cross country teams continued their impressive seasons as each team finished third at the BYU Autumn Classic.

"We had a nice improvement from our first week at Utah State," UV head coach Scott Houle said. "The Baylor women and Minnesota men, along with BYU are top-10 programs. I am very impressed with our performance against this caliber of competition."

For the women, Ayisha Mitchell continued her strong start to the season with an eighth-place finish to lead the way for the Wolverine women.

Ashley Evans, Aleina Eisenhaur and Trisha Wright also finished in the top-25 of the women's 5K race.

Chase Englestead once again led the men, with a 15th place finish in the four-mile race.

"Our men ran more consistent and together as a team," Houle said.

Clark Neilson, Macy Butterfield along with Derick and Danny Moody all finished in consecutive spots on the men's side.

The UV runners will next compete at Montana State next Saturday in Bozeman, Mont.
