Track Opens Season at BYU Invite
Jan. 5, 2007 Orem, Utah - Utah Valley State gets its track season underway this weekend at the BYU Invite in Provo. "This will be a fun event because we will finally have a chance to se what we can do," UV head coach Scott Houle said. "We have a lot of young talent and it will be good to see how the incoming freshmen perform." The Wolverines will take compete against BYU and Utah this weekend. "The competition will be good," Houle said. "BYU and Utah are both very good teams. We expect to be competitive." The BYU Invite is the first of five Indoor meets that UV will participate in. Next week, the Wolverines will head to the Boise State Invite. "We will be able to gauge where we are at as a team," Houle said. "We will also be able to see how our training is paid off." |
