Two School Records Fall at Robison Invitational

Provo, Utah - Two school records along with numerous personal records fell for the Utah Valley track team at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational.

The Wolverines had school record performances in the women's 4x100 relay and the women's 4x400. Jami Daniels, Tawny Judkins-Gause, Mariama Salifu and Kari Snow-Tupou broke the 4x100 for the third time this season with a time of 46.08.

In the 4x400 Judkins-Gause, Whitney Peck, Amy Poll and Salifu broke the five-year-old school record with a time of 3:53.38. Poll anchored the group with a personal-record of 57 seconds in the 400 meters. The men's 4x400 relay team also set a personal record with a time of 3:18.31.

Salifu finished first in another 100 meter race as she ran the finals in 11.76.

A pair of redshirting UV runners also set personal bests running as unattached athletes. Chase Englestead set a personal record in the 3000 meter steeplechase, running a 9:11.95, good for third. Ayisha Mitchell ran the 1500 meters in 4:29.99.

Kirsten Barney (4:42.08) and Karinne Bentley (4:43.16) also set personal records in the 1500 meters.

UV will be back in action next weekend at the Weber Twilight meet in Ogden on May 2.
