PRIOR TO UTEP: Led El Paso Community College in nearly every batting category, including average (.429), hits (81), runs (52), total bases (137), doubles (21) and home runs (11) while posting a .725 slugging percentage and .483 on-base percentage...had 111 putouts and 118 assists to record a .923 fielding percentage...ranked first in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference in hits and tied for first in home runs...registered a second-place finish in the league in batting average, doubles and RBIs and fourth in runs...named to the NJCAA Region 5 West All-Region team, and also earned WJCAC honorable mention honors.
