Senior forward Jami Tullius has been named to the SoccerBuzz National Team of the Week, it was announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

UTEP needed two wins to secure the No. 3 spot in the league tournament, and the Miners did just that this past weekend. Tullius played a huge role in that success. She scored three goals (including the game-winning-goal in the 1-0 win against Rice), while also registering an assist. Tullius has scored a C-USA leading 12 goals this year, while also pacing the conference in points (32) by a margin of seven.

It marks the second time in her career that the El Paso native has been named to a National Team of the week.

Tullius will be back in action with the rest of the squad against Colorado College in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA tournament at 8 p.m.
