ALLEN, Texas The UTEP soccer team got a goal from Jami Tullius for the only score in a 1-0 win over Oral Roberts at the National Collegiate Showcase Saturday afternoon.

UTEP was scheduled to play North Texas but the game was cancelled.

The Miners were scheduled to host three area club teams next weekend in El Paso but that event has been cancelled as well, due to injuries on the UTEP roster.

As a result, the competition portion of UTEP’s spring season comes to a close with a 2-0-2 record. The Orange and Blue earned wins over a strong UTEP Alumni squad and ORU, while playing Arizona and Wyoming to a pair of scoreless ties last weekend in Tucson, Ariz.

UTEP’s 2006 fall schedule will be released as soon as the Conference USA slate of games is finalized.
