70 Utah athletes in all named Scholar Athletes.

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah ski team saw seven of its members honored by the Mountain West Conference today, being named to the MWC Scholar Athlete team.
Representing Utah are Tague Thorson, Scott Veenis, Annelies Cook, Snorri Einarsson, Mikaela Grassl, Sarah MacCarthy and Sara Schweiger.
To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition for their athletic team.
