Utah State Women's Tennis to Host Weber State and Utah

Feb. 20, 2007

LOGAN, Utah - After posting a 7-0 sweep against Dixie State last Friday, Utah State women's tennis looks to continue its success as it hosts intrastate rivals, Weber State and Utah this week. The Aggies are scheduled to play Weber State Thurs., Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. and Utah Sat., Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. Both matches will be held at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club and are free to the public.

Last year when Utah State met Weber State, the Aggies lost 4-3, earning three points at the top three spots in singles. Utah State fell to Utah last spring, 6-1, with current Aggie Courtney Anderson earning the only point for Utah State at number three singles.

Anderson continues to lead Utah State this season with a current record of 6-1 in singles, her only loss being to an All-American. Also leading the Aggies is freshman Brianna Harris with a record of 5-2 at number three and four singles.
