USU Women's Tennis to Host Dixie State Friday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis will host its fourth home match of the season against Dixie State Fri., Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club. The Aggies added two losses to their record after returning from Las Vegas last weekend, falling to 2-4.

This season the Aggies have been led by senior Courtney Anderson and freshman Brianna Harris. Anderson owned a five match-winning streak at number one before falling to University of Nevada, Las Vegas' All-American Elena Gantcheva Sunday. Harris holds a perfect 3-0 record at number four and has a combined record of 4-2.

The Aggies played UC Riverside Saturday with Harris and Anderson winning their doubles match at number two. Anderson and Harris went on to the singles action earn the only two points for USU, resulting UCR's victory, 5-2. USU fell hard to UNLV Sunday, 7-0.

All USU tennis matches are held at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club and are free to the public.
