Utah State Women's Tennis Ends Regular Season with a 5-2 Victory Over Weber State

OGDEN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis finished regular season play with a 5-2 victory over Weber State Thursday in Ogden. The Aggies hold a season record of 9-9.

In doubles action, Monson sisters Lauren and Erin dominated Weber State's Inalise Pienaar and Kate Ennenga at No. 1, 8-0. Aggies Courtney Anderson and Dee-Dee Nelson defeated Wildcats Greyce Farias and Gabriela Venditto at No. 2, 8-6, and helped capture the doubles point for the Aggies.

USU went on to win the first four sets in singles action. With her victory at No. 1, Anderson now holds a 7-match winning streak and a season record of 13-3. Also winning their matches were Erin Monson, Dee-Dee Nelson and Lauren Monson.

Next, the Aggies will travel Boise, Idaho for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament starting Thurs., April 2 for a three-day tournament.
