USU Women's Tennis Suffers Loss to New Mexico State, 4-3

BOISE, Idaho - Utah State women's tennis lost their second of three matches on Friday at the Appleton Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho against New Mexico State, 4-3. With the loss, the Aggies drop to 7-9 for the season. USU was swept in doubles action by the NMSU Aggies. Senior Courtney Anderson captured the first point for USU at No. 1 singles against Zeljka Juricek. Playing at No. 2 singles was Erin Monson who dominated NMSU's Nicole Fintell, 6-2, 6-4. USU lost at No. 3, but Dee-Dee Nelson pulled through at No. 4 defeating Paulina Zuniga. The USU Aggies lost the remaining singles matches, and lost the game 4-3. The USU Aggies have one remaining match in Boise against Portland on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
