USU Women's Tennis Falls to Boise State, 5-2, Thursday

BOISE, Idaho - Utah State women's tennis fell to Western Athletic Conference foe Boise State, 5-2, Thursday at the Appleton Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho. The loss brings the Aggies down to 7-8 for the season. USU did not capture the doubles point, losing all three doubles matches to BSU. Brianna Harris and Courtney Anderson were closest to a victory at No. 2 doubles, but fell to Jana Mackova and Laura Baum, 8-6. Anderson went on to secure the first point for the Aggies at No. 1 singles, defeating Bronco Bianca Jochimsen. Recipient of the WAC Tennis Player of the Week Award for the week of April 2-8, Erin Monson, earned the second and final point for USU as she took on Jana Mackova at No. 2.
