USU Women's Tennis Falls to Boise State, 5-2, Thursday

BOISE, Idaho - Utah State women's tennis fell to Western Athletic Conference foe Boise State, 5-2, Thursday at the Appleton Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho. The loss brings the Aggies down to 7-8 for the season.

USU did not capture the doubles point, losing all three doubles matches to BSU. Brianna Harris and Courtney Anderson were closest to a victory at No. 2 doubles, but fell to Jana Mackova and Laura Baum, 8-6. Anderson went on to secure the first point for the Aggies at No. 1 singles, defeating Bronco Bianca Jochimsen. Recipient of the WAC Tennis Player of the Week Award for the week of April 2-8, Erin Monson, earned the second and final point for USU as she took on Jana Mackova at No. 2.

The Aggies will remain in Boise and the next action will take place Fri., April 13 at 9:30 a.m. against New Mexico State.
