Todd Bradley Named To Utah State Softball Coaching Staff
Aug. 5, 2004 LOGAN, Utah - Todd Bradley has been named as the assistant softball coach at Utah State University it was announced by Aggie head softball coach Lonny Sargent on Thursday. Bradley replaces Sargent, who was promoted to head coach on July 26. Bradley served as head softball coach at Western Baptist College located in Salem, Ore., in 2004. Last season the Warriors were 20-25 under Bradley's direction and nearly qualified for the NAIA Regional Tournament. "Todd is going to add so much to our program and we are excited to welcome him to Utah State," said Sargent. "He is a great person and wants to make the softball program here at Utah State better." Prior to spending one season at Western Baptist, Bradley spent four seasons at Blue Mountain Community College (Pendleton, Ore.) where he was responsible for starting its softball program. While at Blue Mountain, he compiled an 81-78 record. "I'm excited to be a part of the Utah State softball program," said Bradley. "I know that Utah State softball has amazing potential and it will be fun to work with Lonny in helping the program reach its full capability." Bradley graduated from Western Baptist with a degree in sports and fitness management in 1999.
