Tuesday's USU Softball Doubleheader At UVSC Postponed

March 26, 2007

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State softball's week-long layoff just got a little longer as USU's doubleheader at Utah Valley State scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed due to a combination of cold temperatures, rain and snow in the forecast. The twinbill between the Aggies and Wolverines will be made up on April 17 at Orem, Utah, with first pitch slated for 2 p.m. at UVSC's Wolverine Field.

Utah State is presently 9-17 on the year, surpassing last season's win total (8-38). The Aggies have been off since March 18. USU opens Western Athletic Conference action with a three-game series at preseason conference favorite and defending regular-season champ Fresno State on Friday and Saturday, March 30-31.

Utah State's home opener for the head coach Candi Letts era is Tuesday, April 3 when the Aggies open at Johnson Field against in-state foe Utah Valley State. Admission to all home USU softball games is free to the public.
