Utah State Soccer Match At Hawai'i Rescheduled For Monday
Oct. 16, 2006 HONOLULU - Utah State's soccer match at Hawai'i that was postponed Sunday due to an earthquake that shook the islands early Sunday morning, has been rescheduled for Monday at 8 p.m. MST. Power was knocked out throughout Hawai'i, and as of 11 p.m. MST Sunday night, the Aggies still did not have electricity in their hotel in Honolulu. A member of the team had friends in the area that donated lunch to the team Sunday. Utah State owns a 6-7-1 overall record and is 1-0-1 in Western Athletic Conference action after playing to a 0-0 draw with San Jose State Friday. Hawai'i is 8-6-2 overall and 2-1-0 in WAC play after the Rainbow Wahine beat Louisiana Tech Friday. The Aggies return home for a two-match homestand at Chuck & Gloria Bell Soccer Field, hosting Nevada on Friday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. (MST), and Fresno State on Sunday, Oct. 22, at Noon (MST).
