Utah State Finishes Play At The ITA Regionals In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Freshman Jakob Asplund and sophomore Oscar Ericsson were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the consolation round in doubles play as Utah State men's tennis team finished its fall season in day four of the ITA Regionals in Las Vegas, Nev., on Saturday.

Asplund and Ericsson teamed up to beat UM's Mikolaj Brokowski and Raydner Rames, 8-5, in the fourth round of doubles consolation to continue on to the quarterfinals. The duo fell to Weber State's No. 11 Sascha Kiehne and Fabio Mancarella. 8-4, in quarterfinals.

The ITA Regionals concludes fall action for the men and the season will pick up in spring.
