Quickly: After solely handling the placekicking duties last year, will additionally handle punting duties this season. 2007 (Fr.): Named to The Sporting News Freshman All-America list as an honorable mention selection... Made at least one field goal in eight of 10 games attempting a FG, finishing season 13-of-21 (61.9 pct) with season-long 47-yarder at Hawai'i, part of his three FG outing... Was also 25-of-25 in PAT's, one of only three kickers in the WAC with perfect PAT percentage... Ranked seventh in league in FG pct., as well as sixth in field goals... Led USU in scoring with 64 points on 13 field goals and 25 PAT's... Ranked seventh in the WAC in scoring for kickers... Made three field goals in the 40-49 range with a season-long 47-yarder at Hawai'i... Also had four punts for 41.2 average with a season-long 58-yarder vs. Boise State... The 13 field goals are the most for a USU placekicker since Dane Kidman made 14 in 2002 and rank Caldwell 11th on the Aggies' single-season field goals list... His 21 field goal attempts are tied for seventh on the USU single-season list with Micah Knorr in 1996... Is just the fifth placekicker in USU history to have a perfect PAT percentage, joining Tom Mayes (1975), Steve Steinke (1978), Willie Beecher (1982) and Doug Beach (1990). High School: Tabbed by Street & Smith College Football Preview as the WAC's preseason top impact freshman... Was a second-team all-state selection as a prep senior... Earned regional special team MVP honors... Averaged 43 yards per punt and made 15-of-16 field goals... Had a long field goal of 57 yards... Eighty-five percent of his kickoffs were touchbacks...
