Utah State Track And Field Team To Face Nationally Ranked Teams At Holiday Inn Team Invitational

LOGAN, Utah- Utah State's track and field team will compete in the Holiday Inn Team Invitational hosted by Boise State on Friday, Feb. 11 and Saturday, Feb. 12. The meet will be held at the Jacksons Indoor Track in Nampa, Idaho.

Justin Wickard, who has finished first in his last three meets in the 60 meter hurdles, will lead the men's team agianst five nationally ranked teams, Lousiana State (5), Oregon (10), Arizona State (13), Southern California (15) and Texas A & M (25).

The women's 4X400 meter relay team, which took first place at last week's United Heritage Invitational, will face three nationally ranked teams, Lousiana State (2), Arizona State (17) and Cal Poly (19).

This is Utah State's final meet before the WAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held in Nampa, Idaho. Utah State's indoor track and field team joined the WAC a year earlier than the rest of USU's athletic programs.
